A Change of Schedule

Good evening! Instead of a usual Thursday post, I have a short update to bring to A Writer's Pen. As the title of this post suggests, I will be making a change to the posting schedule.      I truly wish to bring quality content to this blog that reflects my goal of encouraging other writers to glorify God through their writing. I want to aid and inspire other writers on their journey by what I can offer them here on this site. To achieve this goal, I need to spend much time and thought on putting together posts.      The system of weekly posting hasn't quite given that time to truly delve into writing articles and such. As much as I would love to bring something new to the homepage every week, I'll have to discontinue that routine. Starting this week, I will be posting every other week (still on a Thursday).     I'll see you in two weeks!      ~Madelyn

An Overdue Explanation

Yes, it may appear I disappeared off the face of the earth. After releasing a post regarding upcoming changes, I suddenly ceased to post at all! For any who may be wondering, this sudden absence of content was not one of these planned changes.      So why haven't I been posting? The plain truth of it is that I had nothing to post. Due to health changes and the general busyness of life, I had to put writing on the back burner while I sorted through other things. Though I wrote snippets of things here and there, I wasn't able to write out a full blog post. Thursdays came and went, and I found I simply had nothing to post.     A m I back for good? Lord willing, yes! During this unexpected break from blogging, I have devoted much time to reorganizing my schedule and resetting priories so that I can spend the time needed to blog each week.     Looking forward, my hope to glorify God and encourage other writers is still blazing ...

Changes Are Coming & Good Luck With NaNoWriMo!

Hello! Today, I have a post that slightly differs from others because, instead of being solely focused on one topic, this is a bit of a combo-post. I'd like to simply touch on a few things, so let's get started!          First of all, changes are coming...and I'm not just talking about the autumn wind that brings a chill to the air and beckons for winter. Changes are coming here-- to A Writer's Pen. There are ideas up in the air, plans in progress, and little things going on behind the scenes that will come out in due time. Yet, many of these plans are not quite set in stone. That is why I'd like to remind you of the survey that I introduced to you last week. I'd really love to know what you think! Changes are coming, but I want to be sure that my readers are involved and able to have a say in what they think would improve A Writer's Pen. Click here to take the survey!           Secondly , I'd...

A Writer's Pen Hiatus

Good day!       A Writer's Pen will be taking a short hiatus from posting for the month of September. September is a big and busy month for me this year because it is the month of my sister's wedding! With all the craziness going on, I find it necessary to take a little time off from posting so that I can better juggle my various responsibilities.       During this time, I hope that I might just be able to catch up on my many writing projects. Who knows? You may even hear a little something about them.       I will see you all again in October!      Au revoir,      ~Madelyn

Posting Day Switched

Instead of a usual Monday post, I have an update for this blog. Due to its greater convenience, I will now be posting on Thursday instead of Monday. It is my hope that this blog will function better under this new schedule.       You'll be hearing from me again on Thursday!      Have a wonderful day!      ~Madelyn

Today’s Post Postponed

Due to the fact I haven’t had time to complete the next section of The Reader’s Survey, I’m afraid it is postponed until Wednesday. My apologies for any inconvenience! I’ll try to be more timely next time.      Have a good evening!      ~Madelyn
